Kneeling Carabao Festival 2013

This year's festival is so amazing! There were so many "mosiko" or music bands at the start of the parade. Then it was followed by carabaos from each barangays and several sponsors of the fiesta. Few local artists were also there to visit the town.

The parade started at 2:00 pm and the heat is totally unbearable. But all is excited so we just ignored it and enjoy the festivity.

OMG, look at this one. He really can't be tamed.

But he has a nice body art.

(Whispered to his carabao) Man: You would not embarrass me, would you?! Please please please kneel!

I love this photo! He was able to made his carabao knelt infront of us.

This one is a fashionista carabao.

It's nice to see the Pulileños watching the parade, neglecting the extreme heat at that moment.

There were some who danced along the road and one of those are these lovely kids with very bright butterfly costumes. Drum and lyre bands are charming and entertaining as well, most especially when they played the songs "Gangnam Style", "Just the Way You Are", and some music from Beatles.

She is a local artist in the country named Valerie Concepcion. I called her twice and wave my hands, luckily she saw me and wave back too!

And this is the carabao of Nestle Sorbetes. I absolutely love the costume of the girls, especially their flags. They are very attractive!

This one is the carabao of Robinsons Pulilan.

Ohhhh! Hahaha and there goes JOLLIBEE and HETTY! Junqit's favorite. I asked them to give us either spaghetti or burger but they just wave on us. That's so sad.

Emperador, the best sponsor! Hahaha (You know what I mean) :-)

He looks so tired :-(

Do you remember what I told you about the candies and cupcakes they throw on us? Luckily I got one!

HEre's Julia Montes, another local artist. She was a bit shy during the parade but she starred on us to have her picture. So pretty and charming.

OMG!!! Luckily, I got a chance to hold the hands of this famous actor! His name is Gerald Anderson. Seriously, I followed his nipa hut car and called him four or five times. I offered my hands and fortunately he held it for 3 seconds (I guess). Hahaha you may think I'm weird and funny but this experience was really great! I became a dying hard fan (just for a day).

There were some cows in the parade (which need exposure too).

Lastly, a group of carabaos (I don't know how to call them) closes the parade at around 3:00 pm. And yes, they are smelly!

So, these were the things happened last Tuesday. I didn't expect this parade was going to be an incredible one compared to the previous festivals. This one was the best!
